Good Multiplayer Games?

i have the Orange Box
these are the games i have already :

Orange Box
Fear Platinum
BF 2 collection
L4D
...i have some more steam games but dont have access to it at the moment

they are the only MP ones i have, i will check out some of the suggestions you all have made
wont be buying them all most likely get MW2 and BC2, might get L4D2 as i enjoyed the first

bfbc2, l4d (first one owned when you first experienece the game), 2142, killing floor, and cod:world at war

Does anyone still play 2142? Used to love that game, thought about reinstalling it recently.

Killing floor was abit meh, but I never played it with people I knew - I know how much playing with randoms can kill real team based games.

Another vote for L4D/L4D2.

COD4 was good, MW2 was more of the same (but getting a bit boring) but COD5 was tripe imo.

I'm not sure why but i got bored with L4D2 very quickly, possibly due to overplaying the first one.

There's only so many times you can play the same 4 maps before you get bored. The AI director doesn't make the levels that different.
