Hey guys. Im pretty pleased with my system now, all pretty good parts apart from my RAM and to be honest, its because I dont know that much about it!!

I currently have 4GB of some value PC2-6400 which is really holding me back with my overclocking as the system wont run stable with it clocked much over the standard 800MHz (Im after a fsb of around 500 so 1000MHz RAM).

Soooo, basically I need some PC2-8500 but have no idea what to get! Been looking at the Kingston HyperX which I see a lot of people using, but would it be worth the extra £7 to get some OCZ Blades or an extra £14 for a set of OCZ Reapers? Or are you just paying more for some fancy heatsinks that arent much use?

Or any other suggestions? Want to keep it as cheap as possible, but will go upto around £60 tops.

Cheers :)

I would go with the blades

Nice low voltage on the blighters, gives you room to turn up the voltages without creating a real excess of heat

Seems win win to me (though i'm a G-Skill fan myself)

Maybe blade or other useres will post with more precise info ;)

Yea, I saw those and was quite tempted. They the same as the other Blades, just able to run at a higher frequency?

ETA is the 27th, will have free shipping by then hopefully, so they seem tempting :) Cheers for the advice guys
