What is a good ps3 headset that dont cost loads of money? I guess my limit is £50ish but the cheaper it is the better.

Would like a wireless one but will look at USB.

Turtlebeaches are decent enough, they provide decent sound quality and controls, a clear microphone yet my ones have broken repeatedly, mic plastic fell off, ear snapped under little-no pressure, dodgy usb connection. BUT when they do work they are perfect for your price range. How often do you play PS3 and what games do you play? These would be better for FPS's but for things like GT5 a regular bluetooth headset would be fine. Either a Gioteck or Official Playstation.

After hearing they break I dont think i'll get them lol, I just play call of duty on ps3 so I guess something cheap will be good enouth as I have 5.1 in my room and use tv speakers down here, so I dont really care about the sound side of it as it's more for just talking to the people I play with... But I do play by ear a lot so maybe it would be a good idea to save up and get a 5.1 headset with mic?

I have the PX21 and it is a decent headset. I did have Astro A40's but lacked the time to game properly with them so sold them, for the £200 or so I spent on them I wasn't using them enough to justify the expense.

If your a casual ish gamer then the PX21 will do you just fine mate, the advantage with these is that they work on all the major platforms including your pc :)

i 've had my px21 couple of months and they are fine. i haheard that they do break easily but mine are okay. i only suggested them to you as u just wanted to spend less than £50.

I ant really a hardcore gamer anymore (meaning I dont play all the time and hours on end) I found where I'm quick to many people call me a cheat and I just got annoyed at it (this is on ps3, xbox and pc)... I was up oxford street today and I spent £9 on some one in hmv, I saw them in there also I think it may have been game but my dad also watches me play and talks to me while I do so he would like to hear it also..

I will buy a pair though, getting a room of my own soon so I will have too for late night gaming, as I wont have to use tv down stirs and can just stick to my 32 up here (though im going to get a bigger one when I got the room)

Thanks though guys, since you all say there good I will pick up a pair over the next few months, they are surround sound ant they?

if ur not a hardcore gamer and just want to use them for midnight gaming and chattin px21 or the tittron will be fine, that why i bought mine for. if u wanted surround sound, it is gonna cost more than £50

Via USB port for power and for game sound there is an audio jack and splitters for your AV cables (No HD sound)

of course i can, once psn is back up :( you can adjust the settings in the ps3 system menu you know ? i had no trouble with my logitec mic/ear piece.

as for connections, you need to use the basic AV cable for audio output, or you telly's phono, and the usb for the mic, you get a nice long 16ft iirc cable tho, and a nice easy switch for turning the mic off if you get game Rage :D
