Good pubs near Kings Cross station

It’s my first time on London and I’m in a hotel near Kings Cross station. Can anyone recommend a good pub nearby for a swift couple of pints?

The one right at the very back of Kings Cross is great and relatively unknown.

If you're talking about the Parcel Yard, then yeah, it 's a great little boozer. Does awesome chips.

Thanks fellas. Ended up going to the Skinners Arms which is a five minute walk away. It had decent beer and a good atmosphere so worth a look if you’re ever in the area.

You can go up behind the station to Granary Square where there's a few bars and some nice restaurants. Caravan and Dishoom are worth a shout.
