Good RPG MMO but more like single player?

I played the original when it first came out and enjoyed it, but there's not been a mmo since, I was hoping GW2 would be better.

Do you think its the type of game im looking for ?
does it have upgradable weapons and armour,
weapons grafting ?
Im downloading it to check it out, but what to find out before ?

KOA: Reckoning is pretty good, although the graphics aren't anything spectacular, it's an incredible single player RPG, with MMO elements.

Play any MMO and just don't interact with anybody?

as a single player type I meant games that focuses on each player, not groups like skyrim and KOA, I hope you understand the type im hoping for.

Its hard to explain, in mmo's everything is zoomed out and things are random, in rpg;s like KOA its more focused on your player why better quests.

It does have upgradeable weapons and armour but as for crafting it's something I never really bothered with but it's all in there. I still think you should try Marvel heroes.

Nearly every MMo released in the last few years is aimed at making progression easy and solo, you can't really go wrong with any of them.. well maybe avoid ESO cause Skyrim does everything better :p

Id say give SWTOR a go, It is a F2P game now, but it was developed as a AAA release and it shows in a lot of ways. The fully voice acted character storylines are (for the most part) superb, and the art direction is fantastic throughout the game, with tremendous attention to detail.

Additionally, you can play it fully single player if you wish, just interacting with other players for Flashpoints(dungeons) which are fully optional, and the Galactic Trade Network (GTN), which is the Auction house. There are 8 class stories to play though. This is how I play, and I enjoy it a lot.

It can be played F2P, but Subscribe for the best experience imo.

Kingdoms of Amalur is good, although a lot of the story seems like nonsense. Good combat system though and great fun. I've not played it recently but have poured about 60 hours into it! Good value for money.

Swtor is the best single player mmo ive played. You should deffo give it a try.

Ive just finished kingdoms of amalur and that is great, about 50 hours for me with the base game. The dlc may be good too but I dont have it.

Why does no one mention Star Trek Online when it comes to decent MMOs?

It's F2P with one of the best F2P models out there, it looks great and you can solo it!
