Good time to upgrade? £1200 budget

I got a bit of a problem.

Every things been going well, but as soon as I tried to play Vermintide 2, the machine turns off after a few seconds. It won't turn back on until I disconnect it from the mains.
Works if I run the game at it's lowest settings, but once I go higher it crashes.
I ran a Prime95 small FTT's test for over 10 minutes with no problem, max temp was 75oC.
Downloaded and ran Furmark and as soon as a click GPU Stress Test, the machine turns off.
What I don't understand is that I was able to complete a 3DMark bench test earlier.

It looks to me like the graphics card is connected properly.

Things have been going generally well, until yesterday.
Playing Vermintide and suddenly my screen went black due to loss of signal, but after about 10 seconds it came back.
Then today, the same thing happened twice, but instead of the picture coming back, the fans on my machine went bat **** crazy and eventually it sounded like Windows crashed, couldn't talk to anyone on discord.

I've just installed the F2 BIOS for the card, so going to try that.
Trying to look into that undervolting, but I'm not seeing those options in this Aorus Engine software?

O.k scratch that, still not too sure what I'm doing, but using the Radeon software, I've reduced voltage on the GPU and memory to 900mV
