Do you have a spare 5 grand?
LOL, true story.
I've been looking at the Reebok ones again on Argos, can get their ZR10 model for under £600, used to be £1200.
The Reebok that's just blew got a shed load of use in 6 years so I think it's done pretty well tbh.
reebok is not a manufacturer you associate with quality fitness equipment.
the only thing i would touch from reebok is a skipping rope at best.
also argos is the last place anyone would be looking for quality fitness equipment, it's where you go to get a cheap £15 hand blender or something like that, not a £600 piece of fitness equipment.
Ok then, I'll say it. Why not just run outside for free?
Well like I said the last one has done me a great service for 6 years and countless miles of use. I don't see why the place of purchase matters, it's down to the item itself at the end of the day.
put it this way if the reebok lasted you 6 years, then a quality treadmill should last you a lifetime.
Wrong, as I said above I've known two people who have paid £1500-2000 for a "quality" treadmill and they both broke before mine did, granted one of them had a recall but he missed it and didn't send it in for repair.
I'm liking the look of that £600 Nordic one you've linked above though.
Edit: Never mind the ones you've linked are refurbs, wouldn't trust them at all.
If the motor has gone, exercise your brain a little and look into fixing it?
Bro, have you tried Argos? they do some nice treadmills.
Don't be stupid, their whole business model is based around £15.00 hand blenders. Get out.
Edited to add: I had a Reebok one (albeit from fitness-superstore or whatever which cost me £600), used it loads and after 2 years sold it for £150. I guess it's the Kia of the treadmill world; sure you can buy an Audi and get softer-touch plastics, but they'll all perform the basic operations.
