Good Unlockers

got my phenom X2 555 today, it seems to be a pretty decent tri-core cpu :) the 4th core fails, which is a tad annoying, but still, so far i have a 3.8GHz tri-core phenom for under £70 :)

It shouldn't be annoying as you got an extra core for free.

If you were that bothered about having a quad core then that's what you should have bought in the first place.

im not bothered about having a quad core as a dual core will do what i want, and im very happy that i got a tri-core out of it, but when you see the lucky people that got a chip where all 4 cores were stable then makes you feel a little jealous. if there had been a decent phenom x4 BE for £70 then obvs i would have bought it, but there isnt, so for my budget a phenom X2 tri-core BE (so far stable at 3.8GHz, but going to try for 4GHz+) is a pretty decent buy. but not as good as the lucky ones that got a quad-core for the same money, that was all i was saying.
