Good value items?

Hi all.

With the prices going up on nearly everything, is there anything that you still think is good value for money?

An oldish computer can be picked up for next to nothing and I think what you can do with it is amazing, so that would be my choice.

True but the purchase of the car is good value, its just the government want to somehow ease the money saved out of our pockets and into their coffers.

Still far far cheaper than public transport, thus making even a big engined car great value.

Out of fashion mate. A few years ago it was seen as a status symbol by many, compensating for something, now it's seen as a big sign saying "I am a massive ****".

I would say subway, they're the only thing I can think of which haven't suddenly become dramatically more expensive over the last few years.
