Thanks Purgatory, Asrock will come through as a well trusted and excellent brand it just needs time as I will be buying the X79 Fatal1ty when available in UK

I still say ASrock are a budget brand having read a few reviews when I was looking for my new Z68 board. I stuck with Asus in the end.

Each to their own of course, but many reviews of recent Asrock boards point out that Asrock have moved upmarket, and are producing high quality boards with good features.They have increased the quality of components used in general and are targeting the enthusiast market with their z68/x79 boards. I have so far found my Asrock board to be reliable(ignore sig - must change it) and at present I have no regrets - time will tell though.

Iim currently searching for the ASROCK X79 EXTREME 9 as this is feature rich and hopefully a good price
