Goodbye PS2!!!!

I think only Halo2 makes such claims. TBH I have not noticed, but then again I'm sure if I fired it up on the old xbox I'd think it looked like arse.

Whenever I've seen it on a 360 the whole HUD is totally blocky and horrible. The ridiculous LOD is still there too IIRC.

Well for me my Ps2 literally is dead! it was an original unit that arrived on my door the first day the Ps2 was released and now the disk drive has stopped working, i think the lasers okay there just summit really wrong with the in / out and spinner mechanism. :(

if fact after reading this i've just disasembed it into it seperate parts, i know since the problem occured it wont hold a memory so i'll try replacing the bois battery which to my suprise actually has the Playstation logo ingraved into it.

:D

It seems like it will support 1000 out of approx 2500 PAL games for PS2. Now how many does the Jap/USA ones do as I recall reading even with the hardware it wasn't 100% (just curious).

With regards to Microsoft it supports 300 games at the moment but I don't know how many that is out of.

I may get some games that I have missed since selling PS2 a few years ago. (God of War I keep hearing about). I am sure the most popular ones will be compatible.

Also there is still the promise of HD upscaling for PS2 games at a future date (I think Halo 2 on the 360 does something similar).
