Googelmail - Emails you Have to open ???

I noticed that ages ago, I don't delete that way. I just hold the email and it highlights and repeat till they are all done then hit delete.

Edit; Just checked and mine all tick fine so not sure whats up with yours, maybe an older version?

I thought it was a simple explanation to get a simple answer but then what was I thinking thinking it was going to be just a plain & simple thread with Solutions or Help.
