Hi I am trying to set up either an event or a virtual page on google analytics - I We have a contact form on peoples profiles and i need to track when people press the contact form. It doesn't generate a new page as a kind of lightbox comes up so I cant just track it with a normal URL.

I dont need to know which profiles they are clicking on the contact form just a regular expression that they are clicking on the contact form - which would equal a conversion.

Could try sending an ajax request to another page when they click the button, that page can then be tracked.
