I use the 'custom new tab' extension. Works perfectly.

Not really noticed any changes other than the apps button etc. I've got IE 10, Firefox, Opera and Chrome, tend to only use Chrome and Opera now though. Chrome due to the lovely Sync it does

Sync is the major attraction, though that app button's bugging me. That's my fault for having a very long row of shortcuts/folders.

Today I've had no problems with Chrome disappearing up its own backside at all, so maybe the latest updates solved an issue.

Edit: spoke too soon, Yesterday Chrome was behaving, but today it's not. Still, you get what you pay for! :-)
