Google Chrome problem.

Hello,

I am currently using Chrome, and recently it has begun automatically ticking "Use a proxy server for your LAN" under LAN settings.

I'm pretty certain this may be a virus since it's only begun recently. I have ran RogueKiller, and deleted the files it presented to be suspicious however this hasn't done anything. I've also tried doing some googling and there doesn't seem to be a solid solution.

Has anyone had the same problem and managed to fix it, or could someone help me out?

Thanks:)

Did a more in-depth search for solutions and many forums posts required a large amount of work in getting rid of the cause, so decided to just format and re-install windows to save some time when doing so and redownloading would be quicker.
