Google Chrome

ads and pop ups

i don't seem to be blocking any ads or pop us in chrome

the only option i see in under the hood is to uncheck notify me that a pop up is blocked

am i missing somthing here before i download a third party software to do this?

Been having a really weird problem lately... it doesn't seem to be retaining cookies! I triple-checked that it's set to allow all cookies in options, but, nevertheless, every time I visit a page that requires sign-in (these forums, my Gmail, everything!), I get asked to log in again even though I had checked the "remember me" box last time I was there!

Chrome 2.0 is good. Very fast JS performance.

That doesn't look free to me... it looks like free for one month and then £13.28?

Sorry, thought I'd edited that. It's free via trialpay at bottom of the page. For example, you can sign up for a free trial of 25 music downloads at emusic and get Admuncher [or many other apps, such as MediaMonkey Gold or Avira Platinum] free of charge. Then cancel the emusic trial if you want.

After using this on and off for a while, I am now using it as my main browser.

I am a bit of a Google fanboy anyway but it just works. Very simplistic in the way it looks but that is the appeal to me anyway.

Should we be worried that Google have the ability to know soo much about my life?

I use their email, phone, web browser, Instant Messaging App, Calendar - Scary.

Has it got anything like Firefox's killer app 'Adblock'?
