Do Google sell their hardware at a loss?

I'm dumbfounded that the iPhone 5s costs double in comparison for lesser spec vs the Nexus 5?

Can't fault Apples business model. So are Google making money on their devices?

Well share holders for one, maybe an increase in their dividend. Because ultimately they have been the reason for their growth on the back of their innovations.

You can do the same comparison with say a Samsung Galaxy S4 or HTC One. Lesser spec than Nexus 5 and yet cost over £150 more.

Very true, just goes to show what value for money their devices are.
