The site is fairly unimportant since the majority of people can't actually get the service at the moment, which was sorta my point with saying it was on par. ;)
 
Will it/Google's Fibre network ever come to the UK? Because there is so much potential that it could create for the UK's internet services.
 
Why have Virgins annual/bi-annual speed increases slowed down so much now anyway then? are they just so far over capacity that speed increases arent possible right now, or they dont feel it is necessary? didnt the government invest a ton of money into an improved infrastructure? when will we see the fruits of that :o

I'd rather they spent money on bringing the poorer areas up to scratch than giving people with 50Mbps connections a free speed boost.
 
I'd agree with that too, but there current plan of action just seemed to be making the top speed higher and higher to still be labelled as number 1, it is embarrassing that in 2013, a country as small geographically as the UK still has areas without broadband at all, it really is quite shocking
 
I wish a 2:1 DL:UL ratio was the minimum norm. Ideally 1:1 of course. But 2:1 would be totally fine. Then start pushing the speeds above 100mb

Its becoming more and more needed. With everyone uploading videos to youtube etc. Voice and video calling. Everyone in the house from age 5 to age 100 using laptops and phones and consoles. Think how that "share" feature on a PS3 with the 30s video thing will start hitting upload.

While you're right the average person doesnt need it. Its also not something you can "chose" to have. I'd love to be able to pay say an extra 5-10 quid a month to get my line upgraded to a 2:1 or 1:1 DL/UL ratio.
 
I would like to ASK. If you opt for 300USD pack is the INTERNET yours? or us there something ike this in the UK?? were you can RESELL your internet. If I lived nearer the AIRPORT beam tonnes of WIFI and undercut everyone and have free net then pay and it''d be awesome
