Is there a mail thing like Windows live mail to download so i don't need to go on google everytime i want to check my emails.

I think it is configurable in Outlook. But isn't accessing a webpage quicker? I just keep it in my top sites.

It's definitely configurable in Outlook, can't remember how, but I set it up for my mum a while ago....

Also, If you're running Chrome, you can pin the page to a desktop as a short cut... It's basically the same thing, except I guess you couldn't archive emails and look at them off line that way..

But yeah Outlook does work...

Don't understand why you would want to install another program to download your emails when you can have them instantly in a browser...?

Just leave a browser window open and install the google mail checker add on if you use Chrome. I'm sure other browsers have something similar.

If you are bothered about losing your internet connection, see the "offline" tab in gmail settings.

I have, 3 gmail accounts, 1 hotmail, and 1 from my ISP. Makes life a lot easier having them all in the same programs, you also cant run rules through the browser. Ie i have one to send all facebook messages to a seperate folder. I have found Thunderbird serves me best wasnt keen on Windows Mail or outlook. We even use Thunderbird at work for our emails and calanders.

With Gmail you run rules/labels/exeptions all through "settings" it's great.

But, you're right about multiple mail accounts, although I forward all my mail to gmail and apple labels there.

Each to their own.

I love Gmail, All my mail is forwarded to my gmail account & then pushed to my moby, System works sweet for me.
