Google Maps Navigation not choosing quickest route?

You need to be on a recent version of Android to get the closure data at all.

This may be why I struggled, I use a BB10 device which uses Android 4.2 as it's runtime core. I also can't use Google Play Services.

I vaguely recall something about the update being available to Android 4.1.2 upwards. I could be wrong though. Regardless, if you can't install a recent version of Google maps it's not going to help - and the closure data is hit-and-miss anyway.

Am on the very latest APK available but whether the features are enabled due to not being signed in I am unsure.
