Google Maps' "See Inside" and sphere photos

Sorry I was on my phone when I posted that and thought someone had already said. We got the Nodal Ninja UR10 v2 which is one of only two they require (can't remember the name of the other). That sould arrive today and the 8mm lens arrived yesterday so we should be able to submit the first test shot later.

After the first 5 we're listed on their website and the first 10 all have to go through Google QC but other than that good to go!
 
I stumbled across this feature when I was using Street View the other day. Don't know how I hadn't heard of it before. I was checking something about the outside of our building (it was raining and I didn't want to go outside :p), when I noticed the arrow to 'walk' inside the building opposite. Pretty cool! And fair play to them for being signed up on it when I hadn't even heard of it!

Is the charge of having your premises photographed for Google Business View set by Google, or does the photographer/agency price it themselves? And roughly what range is it? I'm half tempted to have our building done, but the Google Business View webpage doesn't give any ballpark on costs!
 
Yeah I think it's either going to be a bit of a waste of time and money (though the outlay was relatively small) or quite lucrative. I don't think there'll be any middle ground as we probably won't bother with it for a bit here and there other than people coming direct to us which is unlikely.
 
Looking to get approved myself Russinating - don't suppose you could provide details on specific equipment with regards to lenses, bodies, mounts and tripods could you so I could get an idea for costs based on current equipment?
