Is street view missing from the new Google maps app update on iOS?

I have just updated it and on one device, nothing is loading and on both devices, I can’t access street view at all. It used to show up when dropped the peg, now nothing at all happens?

Anyone seen the uproar about Google including a calorie counter on the maps? Apparently encouraging exercise is triggering to people who do too much exercise, and also triggering to people with eating disorders who don't exercise because they don't want to lose weight... The world has gone mad.

There's a new Google Street View App.

That’s rubbish compared to google maps and it seems to be iPhone only.

There has been a separate Google Street View App for Android phones for quite some time.

Working fine now. When I was dropping the pin yesterday, no street view pic was coming up. Thanks all.
