On Virgin media and now switched over to Nest Wi-fi for the rest of the house as i thought it would actually make things better than the Virgin wi-fi (how foolish of me)
That's not the problem though
So, the router and switch are next to each along with my PC in the office, I used CAT 6 cable from the router to the switch. I perform a network speed test and everything is seemingly OK, 490M down and 36m up.
The problem occurs when I run a game and have Spotify open, Youtube (yes i know sensory overload) the game starts to lag in the UI opening inventory's etc. If I stop the youtube and Spotify the game runs fine.
The issue is when the VM router was use as a router the above scenario worked like a charm so i know its not the PC so must be the NEST wifi any ideas ?
