Google Pixel 6/6 Pro

i often wonder why phone makers put so much time and money into the camera on the phones, we must be well past peak quality, for what most phone camera are used for. personal i rather have tech that give me better battery life

i have purchased out right for the last few, but if this is tickling 1k then i will enter into a contract, i get 30% off with vodafone and 20% EE so should pan out cheaper.

Yeah I get 25% off Vodafone, so could be very tempted if it comes in at a reasonable price.

I think use case would play a big part in whether a contract was better VFM. I'm currently on £8/month with O2 for 10GB data and I bought my handset outright over 2 years ago.

I'm £10 on 20gb , but not 5g , I'll be appraising costs of contracts based on premium 5g service, some cheap SIM only just aren't as good. I'll roughly be assuming £12-£15 per month for circa 20gb 5g service & calculating costs on that.

I'm on £12 12gb 5G with Voxi. I get the unlimited data on video and social media and it's the only network where I get signal. EE and 3 get nothing in our house. If the plain 6 is out of budget then the waiting game begins. Unless I get a pixel 4. Battery can't be worse than my LG G7?

Sometimes I go into the iPhone thread here as I was also weighing up an iPhone.

But seeing everyone praise features that have just launched with iOS15, such as live text, which we have had for goodness knows how long, makes me want to stay with Pixel even more.
