You sending back your 15 Pro?Yep, if they cannot get that addressed to a degree with the 8, I'll be sticking with my 5 for another year.

You’ve had a truly horrible run of it. Hopefully that subsides.Yep unfortunately it's giving me headache and dizziness like the 14 Pro did. Good phone overall, but the photo processing I really don't like compared to Pixel.
On the first image in my post mentions the Pro having matte glass.Where does it say this.
Also No leak has mentioned biometrics
Very nice. Might get an LTE one so I can leave the phone at home while at the gym.Last year you were able to choose LTE or Wi-Fi only as the freebie watch.
I think it’s probably best to assume that the £999 will be for the 128gb with the 256 being more. I just think they’ve seen what Apple have done with their Pro line up and are happy to follow suit. All these leaks and still no confirmation of base storage sizes. I'm really hoping the Pro starts at 256GB for that price hike...
Do you say that because it’s Google? Like they haven’t earned the trust to justify charging the rumoured prices?£1000! Need to have some serious upgrades from pixel 7pro for people to consider it this year.
But then that’s why there is the regular 7 (soon to be 8) and 7a variants. You want the Pro features, you have to pay the top price.I really hope Google don't start pushing up the prices of their phones in line with Apple. I get that they are starting to push the hardware etc and may think that the phones are every bit as good as or better than the Apple offerings but the beauty of the Google phone has always been the raw OS and the reasonable price / performance. I have been on Google phones since the early Nexus days and would like to carry on but Im never going to stump up Iphone money for a phone, its not necessary.
Agreed, but then I think those potentially willing to swap platforms (me) are few and far between these days. My wife would never switch from an iPhone at this point as an example even if a Pixel 8 was fundamentally better in every category than the iPhone.Pretty much really, a lot of people will see the iPhone price and the pixel price and go for an iPhone.
Also it really depends on the pixel 8 being better too. When prices are similar it'll make people look at the iPhone as an alternative.
Most do it to get the pre-order bonus of which they can then sell on to reduce the overall cost.Yep, Pixels go for next to nothing if you want to resell and upgrade a year or two later. To be honest I think buying Pixel phones on release is stupid considering they always slash the price a few months later.
But I guess thats why there is the regular version of the 8 and the 7a-for those who don’t want to pay the top end. Those are the kind of prices I'd consider for a laptop rather than a phone. I think the big issue for phone makers is that they are all good these days and it's getting hard to get people to upgrade. The fact they only last a few years doesn;t seem to be very "green" to me.
Did you mean the 8 Pro with a smaller screen? lolI wish they did the 8 with a bigger screen. Why are bigger screens always reserved for the top models.
