Google Pixel 9 Series (9/9a/9 Pro/9 Pro XL/9 Pro Fold & Pixel Watch 3)

Really, really happy with mine, as is the wife.
My Pixel journey has been 3, 5, 7 & now the 9, (I must like odd numbers :D)
Not had any GPS issues on the 9, but its not something I need to be that perfect.
Battery life is good, & all my wireless charges work fine. No Contract & a cheap sim. All is good in the world.Strange.

FWIW Export option only appears for me if the Photo has some recorded movement. Which would make sense. Have you got "Top Shot" turned on?

No not really , just be methodical when trasnferring over, i literaly just looked at my old phone and said yes i need that app , no i dont nmeed that one . Just ensure you have contatc backed up to I tunes and you wil be fine.
 
Any recommendations for a magsafe case that works on 9 pro.

Seen a fair amount of posts suggesting the 9 and 9 pro don't have the same placement for charging..

I've picked up a Mous case and its very good. Originally I bought the Clarity 2.0 case and after a couple of days it was scratched all over the back off magsafe accessories. I opened a support call with Mous and they agreed to replace it with a Limitless 5.0 which is a significantly higher quality. Probably the nicest case I've had so far, but it wasn't cheap.

I've got the same case and really happy with it so far - did also have similar issues with a previous mous case and discoloration/ marks from magsafe accessories.

Which limitless case did they send you?
Assume magsafe charging is working fine with it and you have a 9 Pro (not the XL).

I give up trying to find a magsafe case and charger that actually works with the 9 pro.

Seems Google placed the charging coils in slightly different locations on the 9 and 9 pro, Mous claim the coils are in the same location, so cases designed for the 9/9pro work fine! but looking at the images on reddit, there is a 4-5mm difference.

So I'll pick up a normal case for now.

Get a mous from amazon and try it out. Return if need be? Easy.

I've been eyeing one of these up, had my email to pre order the other day but just not sure I can justify the price for something I might not get on with
 
My 9 XL arrived and the set up went fine. Phone seems to do everything I need, which isn't much to be honest and screen is great. Bit annoying that there were a couple of apps I did use regularly that don't have android options, I'd just assumed there would be

Being back on android is a bit strange, doesn't feel as slick as iOS, time will probably sort that out.

Anyone know how to get rid of the day/date /weather widget on the home screen ? I'd rather have another row of apps if I could
 
Does anyone who owns a Pixel watch 3 have any thoughts on the battery life please ? I'm itching to get one but would like to know if you can get a full day from it and how long it actually take to charge so I could possibly charge it before bedtime. Thanks.

I've got a PW3 and I am happier with the battery life than I was with the PW2. I can get at least a day from the PW3. It takes a fair while to charge and I find sometimes I have to reseat the charging puck as it seems to charge very slowly until I do. How long would you be charging the watch for before bedtime? Sometimes I forget to charge the watch before I go to bed so I put it on for a bit to get some charge in it to make sure it lasts overnight then charge it fully in the morning.

If I charge the watch to 100% before bed I find that when I wake up the next morning the charge has dropped to 94%. I think it was more like 90% with the PW2.

I would have between 7pm and 11pm about so would that be enough for overnight and till 7pm the next day do you think. Thank you.
