Google plus name policy

just received an email from google + saying my name doesnt meet their names policy.

seems that you can only use real names

anyone see this as totally stupid move on googles part? how on earth can they enforce this

Did you not read the terms/policy when you signed up?

It's been like this since day 0. And they can enforce it because it's theirs, much like you can enforce who does and doesn't come in your house.

Sure it's stupid, as for enforcing it no idea but they seem to catch people out.
