Whats happened to Google? When I search for something its now not centered and I get a menu on the left hand side, has it been hacked or something?

No, it's Google's new layout.

It's the new layout ... some people have had it for quite a while but they appear to have rolled it out to everyone this week.

i must admit i preferred it when you could just click "more" if you wanted the options and have it normal if you didn't.

Do not like. The reason I use google is because it is uncluttered. Thats the reason I have always used google, eversince it was first out!

For the huge amounts of cash they have to throw around they've come up with some seriously amateurish layouts for both google and youtube.
