i got an email from google with an invite a while back, logged in once, had a quick look. didn't see anything special so not been back to it since

That's it. From what I've worked out it doesn't seem to offer anything that I can't already do with email/msn/facebook. All crammed into a less intuitive/logical interface

I can see it becoming pretty useful once email can be used to update waves as well...

ATM it seems quite ring fenced off as the only way to use it is through a browser page. If there was a standalone app like MSN Messenger then I can see it being used more often as well.
