no doubt! I hate all the faff or youtube and google+!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

at least now it only asks which account I want to use if I log off and back in. before it asked me EVERY ******* TIME I went on youtube/refreshed the page (not navigating but just F5). takes le **** to be fair.

but what sucks is they can do it... and if you don't like it.... well.... tough... go use a different massively social video hosting/streaming service.....oh wait :(


They better just work on improving the streaming service to be fair!!! e.g. the issues forever going on with chat, the stupid delay that is on most streams (but not so much on the partnered streams... yeah... thanks for that twitch.... so for us low pop streams.... viewers have to wait about 20secs for a reaction to a comment.... great.......******* *****) and ofcourse just the general rubbish stream buffering/stuttering (which includes just expanding as I'm fed up of **** stuttering on decent streams just because there's like 30k kiddies watching some **** LoL or BLOPS tournament on.....FFS!

Why is everyone moaning about Google+. They have said they are going to stop forced integration of Google+ with their other products.

Google's infra structure etc will be a massive bonus to Twitch services. We can only hope they don't crack down so much on music etc.
 
saying and doing are different things. government said they wouldn't increase student fees...... what happened there :p I'll wait till it's done before I give them praise.

but yeah..... the music thing could be a right pain as it's crazy enough now with companies able to flag up copyright stuff on YT ( guy did a bad review of somegame and got a strike because the company didn't like the bad review...even though he had written permission to do a review)...... could just completely kill the streaming, or at least make every stream silent :p


then we may get the whole "this content isn't available to view in your country" ********....
 
Apparently Microsoft also bid 1 billion for Twitch. Twitch decided to go with Google because they would retain more control, so there is hope that things will stay pretty much the same except maybe a better streaming service with the power of Googles server farms?

Probably just wishful thinking, but it seems unlikely Google would purchase Twitch if they would have to castrate the core experience of Twitch which is essentially streamer viewer interaction and freedom.

I think most laws allow use of things like copyrighted songs in original content, which Twitch (and by extension el Google) can probably argue what with streamers usually talking over songs.
 
well as long as twitch stays as twitch, and doesnt become twitchoogle + then I can live with a new management. But I think google need to **** off and stop buying online websites. They are trying to monopolise certain parts of the internet, and if they keep changing things all they will do is ruin streaming and online videos for everyone.
