It'd be ok if it stuck with the multi coloured theme... But just a blue G is boring, especially for google...

suprised to see no thread for this yet. google has changed it once again. imo it's brilliant. much much better then the previous favicons.

edit: I reckon they've changed it so that it's based on your theme or something..
maybe not, when I go to google in IE it still has the old one, then I go to the favicon url and the actual image is the new one, still shows the old one in the window, I'd imagine it's just IE not updating it properly

you using firefox and bookmarked google homepage? you'll see the favicon when you bookmarked and not the new one if so.

huh? the new ones got 4 coulors around a very weird looking G the old one was much cleaner.

I thought I had spyware or something on my pc, didnt even notice the G symbol in it
