Right well, i have ignored these problems for a while but now its just irritating. I used my xbox at home for a while on live which was fantastic and i loved it. But now im back at uni and my xbox live is just messed up. I can connect to the marketplace etc. However, my connection will drop quite often. In PGR3 i can connect to hardly any races because of communicating with all players. The test connection says i have strict NAT, although i know others get this i believe and it works fine for them. I can only believe that the problem lies with my unis firewall and internet people. So tomorrow im going to ring them up.. but id like some firepower beforehand, so if anyone has any suggestions as ways to beat their router? or anything like that.. im not network minded.. but ive heard of DMZ?s and things..(might this be better in network connections section?)
Furthermore, Halo 2, while trying to get on live, will ask me to update. It then immediately cuts back and says "you cant use your current display settings"... although im using VGA and tried just about every display setting resolution... Is there one i should be using, has anyone else got Halo 2 working on the 360 over live? Oh, ive been playing Halo 2 campaign which works fine.. and looks good now that i finally got one of the updates!
Neither of these aspects are particularly... super huge deals.. all considering, but they 'should' work and XBL is a key feature i think which im missing out on.. rather irritatingly..
