I'm sorry, but that ****s all over the OP's m3 :D

It looks good. Especially the wheels :)

However, is that a non standard front bumper? I think it spoils it :(

phat.

real nice - not sure which i prefer the car or photography - both stunning.

that grey one destroys the red one. the pictures in that thread are ****ing awesome

the red one wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't for all that photoshopping

Red one looks good, the CSL wheels are probably the best looking wheels on any car in my opinion, really great looking wheel that suit the M3 and Z4 Coupe better than any other wheel I have seen.

CSL induction bark and lightness will be missing however...

Why? it makes no difference what camera was used.

car looks pretty good though.

because im curious as to what was used to shoot it. Post photos in the photography forum and chances are one of the first things they'll ask is what camera and lens they used

its just curiosity. And of course it matters what camera was used.

Maybe this is me looking at it from a photographers point of view, not a petrolheads :)

Is it really? I can't say i've ever noticed that unless something is present a specific lens is notable for or you get phases where people who seem to think equipment is what makes good photographs and go around asking people what lenses they use.

It really doesn't, that could have been a Fuji F40, a Lumix FZ18, a Canon 450D, A Nikon D300 or a Canon 1Ds, what difference does it make? All those camera's could have produced those shots.

yeah because every camera & lens combination produces identical photos.

Like i said, in hindsight the comments were probably pretty pointless in the forum, owing to the fact its not a photogaphy forum, so everybody here is just going to be looking at the M3.

I'd have said exactly the same in the photography forum, it doesn't matter. It's not as if purely by the virtue of having the same equipment as that guy, you'd be able to take the same photographs. Any SLR and wide/standard range lens would be able to take those pictures.

What's made those photos stand out are technique and processing, not equipment.
