Got 430EX, better than expected

I think by 2 he mean if you hold down the shutter release and shoot like a mini gun, will it flash for all the shots.

I don't think that's the question.

On the 550EX you can setup the flash to fire at a set frequency - 5Hz for example. If you then use a 1s exposure you get 5 bursts of flash during the exposure so the resultant image has 5 superimposed views of the scene.

I think scoop's wondering if you can do that on the 430EX.

oooh, I have the 550EX, never tried that !

Mr Stewart is indeed correct; poor phrasing on my part. I wondered if it perhaps had fixed rate stroboscopic ability, rather than the more flexible settings on the 580EX

Can be useful for some effects, but not really £100-worth of useful, IMO.
