got a little hardware problem

I have just replaced a burnt out PSU in a friends PC but now the fan in the new PSU stays running 247. Why is this?

It is the norm for this as I have 3 desktop pc's and all psu's run 24/7 and I have fixed comps and they all run 24/7. I would not worry about it tbh.

I would really like to fix this tho PSU and CPU fans both stay running when the machine is totally shut down. I have never had this before and need to fix it or it will drive me mad not knowing why
