got caught speeding - query

35mph is still within the guidelines - those being 10% +2
30+3+2=35 - this being the guideline level to prosecute.

Its not the limits that annoy me. 10% is low but fair IMO. It's the way they hide and generally operate. Like they focus the lenses straight after a bend even if they're right at the other end of the road.

I'm curious to why that bothers you. Are you upset that you couldn't avoid getting caught?

right I think the thread has gone a bit off track... I've been done and have already admitted to it.. question is what to do next.. should I hold out or chase them?

I should just sit tight now. You've done as required, and if you genuinely haven't received any other communication thn you're in the clear.

Unless you've already done one in the last three years you're likely to be offered a speed awareness course, but there is a time limit to accept this, so you may want to follow it up with the relevant police force if you've still heard nothing in a couple of weeks.

When I did my speed awareness course a few years ago the '+' part is optional and up to the county/area in question to decide whether they use it or not. So it's quite feasible to get done doing 34 in a 30 zone, pot luck basically.

Surprised your KA could reach over an actual 30.
