Got knocked off my bike to day

@teenwolf Just seen this thread. I hope you make a speedy recovery and wear a helmet when back in the saddle!

I've always worn a helmet in the past, but on local rides in hot weather over the past couple of summers I stopped bothering.

Your experience and another I heard about has given me a kick up the bum and I now wear my helmet all the time again.

I hope you’re ok, secondly I ride a bike without a helmet too, I enjoy it.
Good luck making a claim, use a specific cycle based lawyer.
I started a claim using a standard lawyer and it was going nowhere fast.
As soon as I went with a specialist it went my way quickly.
Where there any witnesses? I suspect your video footage will be enough anyway.

Glad to hear you're OK.

If you get poop through your letter box then you likely know who it was!

That's the only issue I have with things like this. If the family is as bad as you made out then they could come back at you for what rhe would deem unfair to them. Some people are just so stupid and can't or won't accept responsibility.

yes i have used a solictor that specialize in cycling accidents.
no witnesses on the accident but the video is clear cut showing him coming from behind me and knocking me off.

i guess the video should be enough.
 
So managed to drive upto my shop today as been off work and my landlord has taken my signs down on the outside of the shop. Ive not been able to pay for the last few weeks due to my injuries. But I would have sorted it. He's not broken into the shop yet but I bet he will.
