Just got myself a Lian Li PC-7B PLUS and very nice it is too.
I'm gonna use the 80mm fan space at the top but which would be the best way, sucking inwards or blowing outwards?

Only niggle about the case is the front firewire connection. Seems I need to use all the little 1 pin connectors which look a nitemare and my mobo manual doesnt cover it.

Not sure about the firewire connectors, but I would say have the fan blowing out of the case. Mainly because hot air rises ;)

Thats the motherboards fault for not using the standard connectors, not the Cases!

And to the blow hole, its used as a extraction fan.

Well my old Silverstone just had 1 block connection for the firewire. The mobo has the block connection and more pins next to it. The block onnection on the Lian Li doesnt fit/match so I presume u need use the individual pins.

Top fan = exhust

Firewire, I now what you mean about all the little single pins, and the mobo manual not telling you which pin needs to go where.

Does this help:

2 4 6 8 10
1 3 5 7 9

Pin Signal Pin Signal
1 TPA+ 2 TPA-
3 Ground 4 Ground
5 TPB+ 6 TPB-
7 PWR 8 PWR
9 No pin 10 Ground

once you have them all in place a bit of electrical tape does wonders for keeping them all together

Thanks for the info mate, but I've got a few firewire ports at the back so will use those.

Is the badge at the front removable?
It probably will come off but with it being a sticker itll probably bleave a sticky residue behind :( . I have this case too and the only thing i dont like about the look of it is the badge on the front, now if it would have been a black/silver badge it would have looked a lot better but green  .

ta, would be better if their badge was black background with silver logo. Would have to get a replacement badge if i ever got one.

Is that the same as mine? I don't really pay attention to what I buy :)

Yes, that's a CM Stacker underneath doing nothing :p
