Just got this in an email from ticketmaster:

"We are writing to let you know that the 12 July concert that you purchased tickets for at the O2 arena is now scheduled for 3rd March 2010. The tickets you receive will be printed with the rescheduled date and you will have the same seat originally purchased. You do not have to do anything as you will be automatically allocated the same seats and moved to the revised date."

What the hell?!!?

I knew getting later MJ tickets would probably be a bad idea because he will most likely end up cancelling but now early concerts have been delayed by nearly a year?

After the fiasco of trying to get tickets, watching them try to ram as many dates in as possible to make as much money and now this I'm done. Never seen him live before and now I don't want to.

I got the same email, I don't want to do now.

I could sell them at the risk of it be cancelled, or wait and see.

I picked the third one because I thought it would be a safe bet.

BBC News said:
Pop star Michael Jackson has delayed the opening four nights of his UK tour.

The BBC understands the gigs have been delayed because of the singer needs more time to rehearse.

The opening night has been pushed back to 13 July and three other dates have been scheduled for March 2010.

In an email to ticketholders, Ticketmaster said: "We wanted to ensure that all of Michael's fans attending the concerts get the same quality in staging and level of entertainment.

1st March for me! Not sure what to do with the tickets now. Wanted to be one of the first to see him and now I'm one of the last. Had a feeling this was going to happen though. :(

pain in the bum......

4 tickets at £75 each
4 services charges at £9!!!!!!!!!!! (WTF may i add)
2 hotel rooms £60 each

He has snubbed his biggest fans, those whom wanted to go when it was only 10 days, those who waited and got their first.....

I suppose it was to be expected judging on his past record......

GAHHHHHHEgfhsbrgkjhdfbgks

Did anyone actually believe the tour would go ahead?

I posted that I thought he'd struggle to last a week, and as such, if you don't have a ticket for the opening week I wouldn't waste your time.

I still believe that. In fact I give it 3 shows, maximum.

This is the reason I didnt bother buying any tickets, I knew he would cancel some/most of his gigs or atleast move them. I can never see him doing more than 3 dates.

He's a 51 year old bankrupt man who has not performed in 12 years. Of course he will make 1,150,000 people all over the world who bought tickets to 50 of his concerts rebook hotels, flights, holidays and days off with merely 3 weeks notice.

The concerts will never happen. It will go down as the biggest grift in pop music history. Ebay. Now.

I had tickets for the 10th July. Now March 2010. Great stuff. Only paid £80 though so not overly bothered and I haven't even paid my friend for them yet :p

This, any fool that bought a ticket and a ticket at ebay prices needs help, this will never happen, he will be able to do 2 shows at best.

Skin cancer just doesn't happen overnight.

Yes but its a major kick in the balls for people like me who deliberately got early tickets knowing he would mess about later on.

Still at least because I got them through proper channels I can get my money back.

mine aren't till sept, i'm just hoping he's still going after that many concerts

Same - and I never went into the deal expecting anything anyway - only that it was probably the last chance to see a legend of the music industry - he's on my before I die list but not my die if I don't see him list ;)
