Got my first NCB!

5UB - Without being rude, how old are you? Have you considered adding a female drive to your policy? I sincerely hope I don't say anything out of line here, but perhaps an auntie or your mother ? This should save you a little money!

My auntie drives my car once a year if that when hers is in for MOT - Insurance reduction = £120

I read the preview to this topic when I hovered over it thinking, wow, that must be a moped at that price. Then I realised you meant per month. :)

A friend is insured on a 106 GTI with 1 yrs ncb at 19 and he's paying £660 FC
 
I've just thought, area makes a big difference - is ocuk land considered particularly rough by the insurers?

24, and I did have a name driver on there and worked out cheaper to remove the named driver. No idea why. :confused:

Yeah, Stoke is not the most nice of places where I live, a bit run down and has some rough people. From asking people around the area my quote sounds about right. For my age, location and time of driving.

Thats elephant mate. The same group, if you get a quote from Elephant or Bell and its cheaper Admiral can match it with a quote reference as they are one and the same!

I'm still trying to find the stuff you requested in trust email mate, I have RMA details etc but the pictures could be anywhere!
 
I tried with them, price was: 1078.85

I believe it is because of my postcode, and that I park my car in the street at night.

I can't see it increasing that much going from driveway to road. Change your postcode to work and just see if it affects it out of interest?
 
It'll be cut in half next year, the day you turn 25 you become Senna reincarnated in the eyes of the insurance companies. Treat yourself to a 500 quid 25th birthday present.

agreeing with that.
but my Fiesta ST insurance did see a £100 drop when I was 25. that could have been the extra year NCB

the only benefit i have seen is that it allowed me to insure certain cars that most insurers see as 'high risk' vehicles

my insurer for example doesn't insure my car for under 25 year olds.
