As the ubiquitous title suggests, this is about GAME the shop, and also my plan for these few weeks. Traded in NFSMW and amped 3 in on monday, got FN3, finished FN3 and lady at game said i could take it back and get GRAW if this happened, great i say, but i really want oblivion....no problem she says, bring GRAW back on Oblivion launch day and take that home instead. Gotta love GAME even if they do charge £50 a game!
 
I order stuff form really cheep online game stores that dont deliver on day release example just got fight night for £31.99 inc delivery
Then on day release go and buy another copy from game play it untill my cheep online order comes (always within 10 daysof release) return the factory sealed copy that i got in the post to game get a full refund :D

I get the game i want on day release
I get the cheep price i want
Game get back a brand new sealed game to sell on

Everyones a winner :p

you know u dont need to take it back sealed? the manager lady said, and i quote the convo.

me: so go on, whats the deal with returns?
her: basically you can finish it, not like it, copy it, anything but damage it and we have to take it back
me: and i get full refund?
her: well no, you traded in games for it so you cant get cash but you can have store credit or even better get another game right away.
me:so i could go complete this and come back and swap it for another £50 game like GRAW?
her: Yep.
me: and if i finished or did not like that and say came in on oblivion launch day....
her You could take that instead, it is policy [smile]

i like her :)

Can you link any of those places doing 360 games for £30 ? I haven't found any :(
 
I was going to do this with Fight Night 3 as I ordered from HMV and I wanted to get my grubby hands on it straight away. Decided against it though as I thought it was a bit cheeky. It is usefull if you end up buying a stinker though as your not stuck with it.

except game who you are defrauding. It is illegal to return something from one shop that you bought from another.
 
They cant tell all copys are exactly the same besides i dont have to return the sealed copy they would still take back the open first box as long as its in 10 days.
And as for ripping of GAME well they shouldnt have such a easy policy they know people do it i used to be the manager of the swindon branch it happened all the time.
Game dont care they put up with this because they make more money in the long run form mums and dads who dont know what to get little jimmy but like the safety net this return policy offers :D

People like me just play the system to our advantage no harm is done
 
lol ripping off GAME...poor things, i bet mr and mrs GAME wont eat for a whole week because of my tom foolery. It's their policy not mine. Lets word it another way for you all.

The product (game) was not deemed up to my standard as it wore out (got completed) too quickly. I would like a similar product (game) in an attempt to rectify this, i hope the replacment fares better or i will need to return it for yet another replacement.

Now for any other product this would be perfectly reasonable.
