hi guys I got my new build today set it up but not getting any signal from the motherboard vga slots, hdmi slot.
also ive tried the hdmi slot on the graphic card aswell.

motherboard-msi z87-g45
cpu-i5 4670k.
graphic card-msi r9 270x
ram-Vulcan 2x4gb
psu-seasonic 750w

the board and all the fans are powering up but no signal what so ever any help.

Try a trusty CMOS reset, sometimes this helps on a new build.

If you do use the onboard GPU then remove the external card.

Re-check all power connections.

Noooo......

Back to basics - try with one memory module installed, remove the external GPU and only use onboard.

I assume you have the 4 / 8 pin for cpu power installed and the main 24 pin ATX connector.

Not at the moment - very little load.

Just wrapping my brains to think of anything else to try!

Does the monitor work your plugging into (Not the first time I've herd this :p)

Next thing to try, but its a pain is to remove the cpu and check the socket for bent pins.

ive been trying to look m8 but haven't got a magnifier just been looking on the web my self and a few people have had issues with the pins.
I haven't tryed the dvi yet cause haven't got a lead could that be the issue?

I dont suppose the motherboard has a speaker attached - see if you can hear any post beeps.

Wondering if your using a TV as a monitor sometimes they don't support the BIOS res and also on the same note you might have a issue with the monitor - just ruling out a possible motherboard fault.

Just to be sure you've tried with each stick of RAM not just the one?

Also another obvious one but have you got CPU fan plugged into the header?

yeah tried all the ram slots with both of the ram sticks and the cpu fan is plugged in.
im gona have to get a magnifier I think and look at the pins on the board.

If you haven't got a magnifier use the zoom function on your phones camera. walkonlfc1, might be on to something with trying dvi, my old Z77 Asus board had to be started with dvi, to get it past the first post / boot.

no joy at all with anything I ive tried the magnifier tried the dvi and still no screen at all.so don't know what to do now.think I will send the motherboard back to see if faulty.

or could it be the cpu is faulty? I don't have another board to test this and the computer shops round here just don't do the new stuff any help on this.
