got my motherboard today but no signal.

Its very rare for a cpu to be faulty, but if you purchased the Motherboard and cpu from the same place it might be worth returning both for them to test and replace the faulty item.

It could be the PSU just to throw it out there, spinning fans, mobo LEDs and drives don't necessarily mean a fully working PSU.

I bought the graphic card and the motherboard from the same place and every thing elsewere..every thing is brand new £800 ive paid for every thing im wounded.
the psu is brand new aswell seasonic g series 80 plus gold hasswell ready.

If the mobo has on board graphics try with out the dedicated graphics card to rule out it being faulty.

Can you also confirm you installed the mobo stadoffs before installing the mobo too?

Some times building out side the case to rule out something shorting etc can help.

Also check the bios updates for the motherboard to make sure there nothing listed or any compatibility issues.

yeah gary ive tried everything m8 cant get no signal off the onboard graphics and the msi r9 270x just nothing at all.

I got magnifier today a had a look but it was cheap one.

I think ive might have found the problem as paulstung said above try the zoom on my phone ive just tried the zoom and had a look and found that one of the pins is off.

but I don't even want to attempt to fiddle with it.so what can I do just send the board back.

Yep, if it's a bent pin send it back.

hi been in touch with the company that I got the motherboard off and they told me if its a bent pin they don't warrant my return and I have to pay £25+vat plus pay the charge to be picked up and then they send to msi for rma.which I think its a joke.
I refused to pay that fee I told them.
they said ive got 2 options pay the £25 or pay £100 pound for new motherboard.
xxxxing joke.
any advice on this.

If they are refusing to budge then it might be difficult. You could argue that it was damaged on receipt ?

Another option would be to buy the same board off the rainforest place, and then send the faulty one back in it's place :o

I would have rma'd directly to msi

If the pin is bent post some pics if its just one I'd fix it myself
