I help with a boy with CP who is about the same age. He absolutely loves cars but he will not be able to drive. Makes me sad but definitely the right thing(Not that anyone would ever dispute that).
"Our kids" sound very similar!
Not wishing to sound odd, but our jobs can be very isolating, we should have a chat sometime when we arent hijacking someone elses thread

I'm not a worker just a volunteer!Lots of kids at the club I help at but also lots of volunteers so it's not really isolating for me but I can definitely see how it would be!
Lucky sod, I have no colleagues, and I work with 28 stroppy 11 and 12 year olds all day! (hes in a mainstream school)
