Got my XBOX 360! What a nice system!

Gave up trying to find one at a store so I got mine off ebay. Arrived yesterday with 2 games: Call of Duty 2, Dead or Alive 4. I think the next game on my list is oblivion and/or PGR.

Pluses:
+ The wireless controller makes my wife REALLY happy because there are no cords to tidy up.
+ Looks really good on my 65 inch HDTV at 1080i.
+ Surround sound on COD2 is spot on nice!

Minuses:
- Dvd-rom is somewhat loud
- The component cable has the audio cords attached (i had to buy an RCA extension)

Kudos to MS for making my xbox 360 not have the problems... yet! I have a mfg date of Oct 2005. :eek:

Does anyone know if the system can play NTSC and PAL dvd movies?

Thanks for all the replies. The system got locked up when I switched to the guide durng game play but a simple reboot fixed that. I am going to switch my system from 1080i to 720p tonight and see if that helps with the visual quality. Though I have no problems with it at 1080i.

So are you saying that providing the dvd is region-free that the xbox 360 will play both PAL and NTSC dvd movies.
