On the DVD front you can play NTSC dvd's they do not show up in b+w. Obviously as stated region codes still apply.

So are you saying that providing the dvd is region-free that the xbox 360 will play both PAL and NTSC dvd movies.

Incidentally does the 360 still require the remote control to play DVDs? (rip off if so)

Can the 360 upscale DVDs.. so if your running games in 720p does the 360 output dvd playback at 720p?
