Got scammed by Asda tonight

Went to Asda on way home from work, fancied pizza tonight so bought a nice looking meat feast

Only when I got home and opened it

Yes fell for the old "lets only put filling on the visable bit" scam

Almost took it back to complain, but im lazy and decided to whine about it on internet instead

Looks more like the pizza's been dropped and the toppings shifted, i suggest you redrop it to right the problem!

Get their fresh ones... they put toppings on infront of you, im sure the 12" are 2 for a fiver or something similar.

Nah, looked even worse with all the topping spread out, picture quality isnt great but 2 bits of pepperoni, couple bits of ham and few funny random meat type balls dont make a meat feast pizza. Isnt even enough cheese to cover most of the pizza

Grate your own cheddar on to it?

I do that with all pizzas I get anyway (unless its a Dominos) - an extra layer of cheddar.

You could always top up the topping with some of your own fresh ingredients, some peppers and tomato would go ok, and a load more cheese. Shouldn't have to though, take it back and say 'this pizza's faulty'

Store bought pizzas like that can be so hit or miss. Sometimes their awesome, sometimes their utter ****.

I prefer to pay a small amount more for a decently made pizza from my local takeaway, always cooked to perfection and packed with cheese and toppings.

Complain + get a refund.

Even if it's not a mistake they'll still refund you - they don't care.

You sure you didnt put it in an asda bag upright? as they dont fit in Asda bags flat? all the toppings fall off to the bottom, Happen's a lot when the nice lady offers to pack your bags they always stack pizza's upright in the bag so toppings fall off.

Sorry mate it made me laugh.....

Best to get the Pizza's made in front of you if you dont mind waiting or the pre packed one's from the Pizza counter as there all cling filmed coverd so you can see all the toppings and even if you put it upright in a bag the toppings stay coz of the cling film....
