Dude use google and you'll find it in 2 secs, and we told you about this program in the other thread you made complaining about the same problem. ;)

The other thread was about blocking adresses :D

lol well in that case my apologies, but someone was complaining of the exact same problem!

In fact the thread has been deleted... odd as it was only a couple of days ago...

The little buggers are still there

If i use Firefox instead will that solve the problem? (A way to just cover it up really :p )

I cant find the spyware anywhere and ive tryed everything.

Will Mozilla set me free?

Try this. Go to the bottom of the page and d/l and run "smitrem.exe". Be sure to follow the instructions.

In the past it has removed spyware the others couldnt touch. Be warned it does clear out your account quite vigorously (sp?). However, no user data should be lost. After rebooting, you will need to re-set your desktop wallpaper and windows theme etc, but all documents "should" be safe if stored in the default locations.

Use at your own risk, but I've never had a problem with it :D

Will this delete my short cuts and folders on the desktop?
It wouldnt normally bother me but they are all sorted in there own little folder for what they are and what they do :p

I can vouch for smitrem being the most extreme spyware nerfer ever..

although the most difficult to get rid of spyware is usually contracted from porn sites.. so dont try and cover it up with this friends malarky :p

It shouldnt alter your desktop icons no.. *although it is extreme so if it thinks your icons have .0001 to do with any spyware then they are going...

I didnt copy and past.

I Cut and pasted it.

Cutting is wont duplicate it like copying does :)

Then go into safe mode and delete it :)

Tried system restore?

How do you do that?

Ill see if it works if you tell me how to do it :)

I used to know how to do it but ive kept my computer clean for ages now ive forgotten :o

turn off systrem restore
uninstall norton

install nod32 trial, adaware, ccleaner slim, spywareblaster, spybot, windows defender (uninstall this after doing update and scan) you can find all these on majorgeeks.com

create a new user account on the machine with a password and use that one (delete the one you've got problems with) mydocs, desktop + fav's will be lost -so copy them

run updates on all those programs, and do full cleans, scans

Thanks.

I think ill just save all the stuff i know is safe and do a full reformat :(

What ever it is, its starting to mess with the windows installer thing(or is imitating it) and its just a complete pain in the arse now :(

:( :( :(
