Got to love Zach :D

Yes Zach does put forward some good and entertaining points, with of course some exaggeration. i.e. not every FF camera is in a D4s/1Dx form factor, he could just as easily have taken an A7r, a7s, RX1 etc. to vegas.
Like he says, most of the time the difference between FF and APSC is fairly negligible in terms of noise, but then sometimes it's not. What APSC comes close to the A7s ISO right now?

I'm also one of those who would already be shooting Fuji if it were 35mm.
Unfortunately for them, it's like Ferrari releasing a new model with two engine choices.. a V6 or a V8. Which one would you want to test drive?
Well that's Fuji's problem. It's a truly compelling and beautiful tool, but it's a V6 trying to compete with V8's.

The Fuji lenses would be much bigger though for a FF sensor. It's a happy median. I'm not seeing what others are "I've sold my 5D3 as the IQ is no different" and all that malarkey. My 10 year old 1Ds2 has better IQ at low iso (it can only dream of shooting at iso 6400!), but I'm forcing myself to accept the IQ based on the smaller overall system. The IQ is still great, if you're not OCD :D To be honest I'm still not 100% sticking with Fuji but I'm at least going to try out the 56mm before I go any other route :)

Of course the lighter weight higher rev V6 could easily be the better drivers option ;) :D

He entertains me :D I shall subscribe to his channel now :D
He's a quality read and watch. Got hooked on him when i read his white seamless blog years ago, then his CreativeLive, Onelight stuff.

First class and tells it like it is and to quote Raymond quoting Zach...

Negligible ! Negligible ! Negligible ! Negligible ! Negligible !

Isn't he a Fuji ambassador or something? Doesn't really change the message though, FF is better but crop is capable. Whether the difference is negligible or deal breaking is up to the individual :)

Look. Some of the trolls out there are going to think this is a Fuji sponsored message. It isn’t. While Fuji is a client of mine and I have done work for them they sure as hell don’t keep food on my table or a roof over my head on any sort of regular basis. I don’t get **** for saying this stuff or making blog posts like this. I’m simply relaying my experiences working with all sorts of cameras in all sorts of situations. And in preparation for making this blog post I have done a lot of pixel peeping at newer APS cameras from Nikon, Canon, Sony, and the rest and I feel confident saying… APS sensors kick ass these days. Across the board. Whatever you are shooting.

Funny how he says MF is so much better than FF but there is no differce between FF and crop. Even the biggest MF sensors are 2.5x larger than FF (most are much smaller), but FF is 2.3-2.6x larger than APS-C and Canon crop respectively.

Anyway, there is a stop difference between these. Whether that is important or not depends on what you shoot. There isn't a big difference fir most people.

that would have been fair enough if it wasnt for the little mini fuji add at the end of his talk

He does say 645 is the 35mm of MF, 6x7 is the nice MF size.

Personally I don't mind if he's a Fuji sales guy or simply a happy customer/fan of Fuji. What annoys me with this quote, is that by questioning if there is a little bias in his video you must be a troll. Considering the commercial at the end, asking the question is a reasonable, prudent and appropriate thing to do for anyone who isn't a sheep.

Lighten up.

Before going MF he shot Nikon, now he shoots Fuji amongst other kit. Minus any possible branding / endorsing i take away from the video that the most important part of the equation is the moron behind the camera and kit selection provided it gets the job done is largely...

Negligible ! Negligible ! Negligible ! Negligible ! Negligible !

If you want to focus on his loyalties or kit then that's up to you but i think you're either missing the point or choosing to ignore it ;)

^^^
If I wanted to make a point I would make the point. I wouldn't be dumb enough to muddy it with exaggeration and advertising.

And enough of the quoting negligible. Do your own thing instead of copying others.

Nah I don't think he's far wrong. Most intelligent people can watch it and make their own mind up if he is loading the dice towards Fuji. There are plenty of trolls who comdemn him irrelevant of the actual content, calling him a shill etc. They did the same when he was shooting Nikon. For some it isn't possible for him to make a statement about anything if he is seen to have a vested interest in a particular brand, no matter how small. That is the nature of the beast I guess, but all the "big" names have a tie in somewhere. After all they are running a business.
