Got too many cases......

I Need to really decide what to keep what to sell and what to bin.

I have:

CM201 Champagne Sides - Currently housing web server
CM201 Black Widow - Currently unused
Lian Li PC 60 - Currently unused
Enermax CS718 Black - Currently unused
Coolermaster Centurion 2 - Currently unused
Coolermaster Stacker - Houses main rig

I am thinking of re-housing my rig (in sig) into a nicer case to give to my GF :eek:

(when I get her a Canon EOS 5D I'm planning to re-install the OS and Photoshop, and possibly get myself a purely gaming rig (if I can afford it)

)

So what are the suggestions?

Should have said I intend to retain at least 3 (my PC, GF and web server)
And probably want to keep the widow

Three worst cases on your list, or ugly to my eyes, they also have the least street value and will only go down more.

They would be the ones I would get rid of, although if you sell the 201b depending on price and condition drop me a email.

dated design... 80mm fans etc, good for the time, but theres better now :rolleyes:

same could be said for the ATCS cases though, but theyre rarer and look classier

I don't like a lot of Lian Li cases, the thing with ATCs cases is they no longer try to push them as a current model, the PC60 is long overdue for retirement, the weaker of the PC60 / CM 201 fight and its still going, and things have moved on.

The PC767 needs to be sorted aswell, really ugly in my opinion! Also dislike the snail so I can keep on going.

I am not so much a Lian Li fanboy than a beleiver in the value for money of the PC7+. The v1000+ is a great case but not ideal for everyone, you get the idea.

I am a strong ATCs fanboy, but just the PC7+ is the case most suited to most people, so it appears that I am a Lian Li fanboy, slightly biased towards them over Akasa maybe, but its because Lian Li use minimal plastic.

The pc7+ might be a better case technically than the pc60 but i still would choose a pc60 any day. To me they look better, they may only have 80mm fans but its not as if you cant buy quiet 80mm fans. Also the pc7+ doesnt have a removable motherboard tray, although i suppose it is a cheap lian li.

The PC60 is a good case don't get me wrong, just it is so much more money that the PC7+, and it doesnt offer that much more, and less in some areas.

If it was as well priced as the PC7+ yeh, but its competing with the Akasa Eclipse which in my eyes bar the appearance of the case is superior.

i went from an akasa eclipse to a lian li pc60 (only really so it matched my mach 2) and admit the akasa is a nicer case to work with. However, that is mainly because it is bigger and easier to get more stuff in. Although it is difficult to get over the looks of the plastic front

Completely true, the PC7 is just a nicer case all round, as you know it was priced very well.

If the PC60 was the same price or £5 more then yes, brilliant its just the way it shoots off into the Eclipse, P180 and v1000+ territory almost that kills it for me.

Better cases around, or for just a little bit more when it does not really offer anything over the PC7+.

Motherboard trays are nice, but a well designed case does not need one for a easy build. Nice to have but more of a optional extra, like a sunroof, not the engine in a car.

motherboard trays are wicked, especially when modding, means u can remove the major components without unscrewing the whole thing.

love the on on the TJ-03, it comes out with the 2 rear fans, expansion card, the lot

And as everyone else will say, if you do sell the 201-BTX i could be interested depending on price and condition
